Registration Deadline: September 27, 2008 Audition Date: October 11, 2008 Audition Time: 1:30 PM-registration for middle school students Students should report to designated registration area for assignment of audition "letter." Audition Site: McCallum High School (Please note, only students, judges, and contest personnel will be allowed in the audition areas. Family and friends may wait for auditioning students in the warm-up area.) Entry Information: Go to www.tmea.org/ Look under divisions to find orchestra division. Scroll to Audition entry process. Open that page and look to the upper left (after reading the information on that page). Click the director log in and enter your students. You may print an invoice from this location. Audition Music: Click on the link below for the PDF files of all audition music. Audition Panels: We will need 5 member panels, since we want all applicants to be eligible for TMEA patches, awards, etc. All auditioning students must be accompanied by teachers or proxy panel members. Please plan to attend each audition for your students. No student should attend the All-Region audition without adult supervision. Any students without appropriate teacher representation will not be allowed to audition for the All-Region Orchestra. Names of string judges must be included in the on-line entry for your school. Audition Results: Click on the link to the left to view audition results. Audition results will be posted p.m. the day of the audition. Music Folders: Directors should pick up their students' 2008-2009 All-Region folders music at the completion of the audition. Final rehearsal schedules and concert music will be in each folder. Alternate performers will not have folders, and should not attend rehearsals unless notified by the Region Orchestra Chairman.
